I'm probably the most sarcastic person you will ever meet in your life (that is if you do actually meet me) but aside from that, I think I'm a pretty good person to be around. I try to always speak my mind and be honest about every little thing. I'm so used to it at this point which is why I am not embarrassed to do the things that I love. I think I'm a pretty weird guy once you get to know me, probably because of how much I joke around but hey, I'm just being me.
I started to rock climb as soon as I got to university. At that time, I basically went rock climbing every day after classes. It got to the point where I started to skip class to go rock climbing. Honestly, I did regret making this choice as it was reflected in my gpa so now I am rock climbing conditionally. If you're ever in waterloo, you'll definitely find me either in the university's climbing gym or Grand River Rocks. Don't be afraid to give me tips, I'm always looking to get better at climbing.
I have loved the study of physics ever since the start of my grade 11 year. I often found myself reading the IB Physics textbook for fun rather than studying for what I would be tested on. I ended up loving it so much that I eventually founded my school's first ever physics club where a friend and I would teach newtonian physics, electricity and magenetism. As of now, I continue to enjoy reading research papers mainly in the electricity/quantum side of things.
This is a picture of me in 2020, when I was only 15 years old. When I was little, I was forced into playing piano without ever liking it but since after quitting lessons in 2020, I have been practicing on my own. I have actually grown quite a liking to classical music and have now started playing harder songs than I could have ever imagined such as Chopin's Ballade no. 1 and his Polonaise Heroic. Now my spotify playlist is just full of classical music (mainly piano).
I think everyone has that one thing that really helped them get through covid and for me that would be Overwatch. I started to play right before the pandemic and played all throughout. I eventually reached a very high rank being placed on the leaderboard within the top 100 players in North America. It's something I hold very dearly because of how much time I put into it and seeing the results.
